Marion Squires has always had a heart for missions, even though her calling has been to serve from home rather than go abroad. She found a perfect outlet for that passion in her role as Missions Secretary at Victory Baptist Church, where she serves as a vital link between the congregation and the missionaries VBC supports around the world.
Marion came to faith in Christ through the witness of a friend and has been active in her local church ever since. Her attention to detail, love of people, and deep respect for the sacrifices missionaries make have made her indispensable to the missions ministry.
She is known among VBC's missionaries as someone who prays for them by name, remembers their children's birthdays, and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel remembered and appreciated.
Marion provides administrative and relational support to Victory Baptist Church's entire missions ministry. She manages missionary correspondence, maintains updated prayer cards and newsletter files, coordinates missionary care packages, assists with planning the annual missions conference, and works closely with the Missions Director to ensure every supported missionary is well cared for.
