Joseph Bertram came to know Christ as his Savior as a young man, and his life has not been the same since. He began serving at Victory Baptist Church in 2018, joining the team at Victory Baptist Press where he learned the printing trade and developed a deep love for the ministry of Scripture distribution. During those years of service, he surrendered to the call to preach and began working through the church's Bible Institute.
In June of 2023, Joseph married Lauren Wood, and the two of them have served together at VBC with joy ever since. Lauren has become a beloved part of the church family alongside her husband, and together they are committed to investing their lives in this local church.
Joseph is known for his steady spirit, his love of Scripture, and his willingness to serve wherever he is needed. His approach to ministry is marked by humility and consistency — qualities that have earned him the trust of the congregation and the respect of his fellow staff members.
Joseph assists in pastoral ministry with a focus on preaching, teaching, and discipleship. He leads a midweek Bible study, assists with counseling, and is deeply involved in the day-to-day ministry needs of the congregation. He also works alongside the missions team to support the church's global outreach efforts.
